Save time and repeat questions, make sure your automatic notifications have the right info

AppointmentGuru has a range of automated notifications (see our help page for more). This guide gives some suggestions on how to make the notifications work for you.

  1. Choose to send notifications by SMS rather than email - it's more likely to get your clients attention.

  2. Add a shortened Google Maps link to your location in your appointment reminders and help your clients find you easily.

  3. Adding information on what to bring will help clients to prepare for the appointment.

  4. Remind them to allow for extra time if they need to find parking or fill out forms before an appointment.

  5. Add cancellation terms to appointment confirmations to reduce late cancellations (and reduce your own time being wasted).

  6. If an appointment is canceled, add details to the cancellation notification with information on how to make another appointment.
